Like a lot of companies, they just buy up talent to stop them developing for competitors, only to close them down at something, because they get so micromanaged developing live service games, that the creativity/talent they had, just dies.

Finally getting around to playing DQVII. Been trying to all week, but you know life.

Looks nice, and looks like they done a decent paint job, not sure about the £129 price, especially if it hasn't had anything done to its inside, and its just a cosmetic job.

The last Konami game looked interesting, gave me bit of a star Ocean vibe.

The MGS announcement was surprising, and did give me a bit of the feeling I got when I watched the final MGS2 trailer back before it launched on the PS5.

Like you say Solid 😉 State of play, but nothing major for me either.

Oh undoubtedly it will have a massive chunk of airtime. With something that people will actually be interested in being something like a one minute trailer.

Fixed up the dull play park, with some custom designs I found.

That is my biggest pet peve with the Dragon Quest games, each game basically uses the same overworked & town music, no matter the location.

Not a clue, I usual just switch a VPN on and go about my business, and then turn it off, when needed .

Had that as well on the way 'up" the road on the right, then obviously flipped to the left on the way back. And of course the rain decided to flip sides, so had rain on the right going up, then on the right again coming back.

I love the two Hero games, such a great mix of Dragon Quest and Dynasty warriors.

Make it a digital only release to cut costs. A couple of the games probably already have English translations, from their original releases, so that saves a bit as well. They went to the trouble of releasing that online Power Pro game for free ,which would of needed translating.

This needs to come to the west, come on @konamina.bsky.social you can't leave us western Goemon fans out.
