County judge. Not a federal judge.

OMG. The amount of panic and shame I have felt when i mistakenly uploaded a copy where a typo was mistakenly left in… I cannot imagine how the person who submitted feels.

Happy to look at some data and be corrected, if you got it.

I disagree. I know many people with decades of experience who are opting to leave now. Everyone felt the chances of waiting out Trump I was very doable at the time.

The most relevant piece of information here is the R which Senator Murkowski keeps next to her name. She and three other Senators could take full control of the government out of the hands of the organization she herself describes as using terror tactics.

My federal agency is offering a second round of the deferred resignation. I am very tired and worried about finding work in 5 or 6 months of a bad economy. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I am thinking of taking it.

In addition to using tax data to target immigrants and non-documented, expect tax data as leverage to be next. Have investments that go against your faith? Against your political persuasion? Maybe hiding streams of income from a spouse or ex-spouse?

Title: Both Liberal and Conservative Judges Rule Against Trump
Description: A scatter plot showing the rulings of judges against or in favor of Trump, categorized by ideology using the DIME score. The x-axis represents Judge Ideology (DIME Score), ranging from liberal (-1) to conservative (1), and the y-axis represents the case outcome (against or for Trump).
	•	Blue dots represent liberal judges, purple dots represent moderate judges, and red dots represent conservative judges.
	•	Some judges are labeled, including Rudolph Contreras, Lauren King, John Coughenour, and James Emanuel Boasberg on the liberal to moderate side, and Carl Nichols, Richard J. Leon, and Joseph N. Laplante on the conservative side.
	•	A note mentions that Boasberg, though slightly right-leaning, was initially appointed by George W. Bush.
	•	The visualization suggests that judges from both ideological backgrounds ruled against Trump.

1/🧵 Judges across ideological lines are ruling against Trump at strikingly similar rates (84% liberal, 86% centrist, 82% conservative). This isn't partisan opposition to Trump—it's the judiciary functioning as intended by cutting across partisan lines to uphold the Constitution.

Just to answer some of your questions: We are asking Senate Democrats to vote NO on cloture without a path to winning a clean 30-day continuing resolution.

Cloture requires 60 votes, so the Senate GOP will need Democratic support. Urge your senators to hold the line. 👇

13.03.2025 15:42 — 👍 755    🔁 346    💬 51    📌 33

It’s a gimmick. Senate Dems are going to allow cloture in exchange for a vote on the 30 day CR, which they know will fail. Then the GOP can pass their bill on a straight party like vote and the Dems will claim they couldn’t do anything to stop it.

Chuck Schumer is in a real shutdown mess. Can he lead Democrats out of it? Despite pressure from the left to hold firm, some Democratic senators seem headed for an off-ramp.

I appreciate you being honest in that interview where you complained about being kept to work late on a Friday. Sorry you will be inconvenienced. Lots of fed.employees are working late, work weekends when needed and end up getting RIF’d or terminated as probationers. But you won’t lose your job.

I am a federal employee. The risks are high for me personally, but the Democrats must take a stand somehow and somewhere. Please vote no on the CR.

OPM tells court it never ordered mass firings, contradicting prior claims The Trump administration is arguing in court that agencies acted on their own to fire probationary staff, but it previously sent a government directive with a deadline for the firings.

This is an abject lie. One easily disproven by OPM documentation. How they found DOJ attorneys willing to put forward this argument is beyond me. Bar Complaints should be considered.

There are so many contradictions in what employees are being told about how to respond to Elon’s email that whatever the intended outcome, most of it would be useless before a 3rd party if misconduct actions are attempted
