Like I even have a decently long list of anime I'm interested in watching that I've just ignored for years now.

Like I love a bunch of generic anime tropes, I love typical anime artstyles, there are absolutely figures I want to get of anime-adjacent characters I really like, anime fight scenes always look cool as hell, I think Japanese culture in general is pretty neat, but I just don't watch anime.

Something I've realized over time is I have all the traits of a weeb except for the one that actually defines if you're a weeb or not: watching a lot of anime (tho tbf I'm not super big on movies or TV shows in general).

Personally, my problem is I'm just a bit picky sometimes when getting new games for a handful of reasons (a big one being I can't get new games too often), but I have definitely been slowly working on branching out and not just exclusively playing first party Nintendo games.

Idk what's up with HAL's obsession with Nightmare in the Switch/Switch 2 era of Kirby games but I dig the hell out of it.

4 or 5 brand new remixes of his boss theme, 5 and a half boss fights in one game, another boss fight in a different game, being the main antagonist of that first game, etc.

This! There is so much you can do with a modded 3DS. Custom home menu themes, save managers, getting around region locks, being able to play online even now that the official servers are discontinued, and much more! Cannot recommend it enough!

I think my biggest gaming hot take is you don't need to explain why you like or dislike a game, just as long as you don't treat the opinions of others as inferior to yours.

So my bedroom window is in like, the perfect position so that on a night with a clear sky, I get perfect visibility of the moon from my bed, which is awesome, but the downside to that is that I get fucking blasted by the sun in the mornings and I hate it.

If we want to count game engines too, Ocarina of Time stemmed from SM64's engine, and Animal Crossing has evidence to suggest it stemmed from OoT's engine, which indirectly links it to Mario.

For those unaware, Splatoon in very very early stages was a Mario game and Pikmin stemmed from the Super Mario 128 tech demo in 2000.

It's interesting to me that there are several Nintendo IPs that originally stemmed from something Mario related. Pikmin and Splatoon are the only two I'm aware of, but I'd imagine there might be a handful of others.

One thing I've learned playing Hollow Knight is I seemingly cannot handle enemies that bounce off ceilings or walls at somewhat high speeds. The amount of times I got hit when I was in The Hive from those massive bees is insane.

I'm also honestly a bit of a fan of the way you get Unite Licenses now, even if it is a bit of a grind (tho what in Unite isn't a grind lmfao).

Ok so since I've been playing Pokemon Unite again, I noticed that the game actually runs well in matches that weren't in offline mode now.

Menus are still laggy as hell, but an improvement nonetheless.
