Sorry for the rant. Since its pride month I had to get this out of my system.

Just because I don’t feel safe enough in my direct environment to legally change my name and get a prescription for hormones, doesn’t mean I‘m less trans.

It’s absolutely crazy that there seems to be more and more trans individuals that try to gatekeep the trans community.

Or the times were people said that I can’t be trans, because I‘m not miserable and haven’t harmed myself.

Just because I haven’t been able to transition doesn’t mean I hate myself.
Like… gender dysphoria is a spectrum. Not everyone has the same levels of discomfort with their assigned gender.

Like the amount of times were queer people used he/they until they saw that I‘m genderfluid and started using the only set of pronouns I‘m uncomfortable with, is crazy.

Or queer people in lgbtq friendly groups saying that I have to pick a gender (male/female)…

Why is it that my cis-het coworkers are more accepting of me being genderqueer and unable to transition, than certain people of the lgbtq community?

When did we start invalidating genderfluid and other genderqueer people? I thought we left the transmed vs. tucute debate back in the 2010s…
