As a professor of English, allow me to try, humbly and with the proper respect, to offer an appropriate response to the President’s address:

For once, I only have the "I don't want to go to work"'s like normal people and not... having anxiety attacks every morning and Sunday's. I can say I'm happy with my job 🤷🏽‍♀️

There are days where I feel so lost. Like I'm just going through the notions. I have everything I could ask for... but it feels like something is missing. A feeling very deep down, full of sadness. I don't know what this something is.. so I pretend I don't feel it. Yet, it's so raw. Empty.

They are taking back campaign promises faster than they made them.

The fact that Trump and his MAGA minions are spreading incredibly dangerous disinformation about the emergency response to the catastrophic fires in California is fucking criminal.

It’s not even remotely surprising, but it is nonetheless fucking reprehensible.

I'm truly starting to believe things honestly do happen for a reason. Whether it be a lesson or a blessing in disguise.. i do believe it's all for a purpose. It doesn't mean it'll make sense or that it'll be fun.. but you can either be comfortable or you can grow. I'll choose to grow.

Finally left my toxic job. It felt great to get things off my chest and address things before I left. I gain nothing from it, nor lose anything. But those who have to stay behind for now.. they have everything to benefit from the changes I would hope comes from my words.

FUN FACT: Measles, polio, diphtheria, mumps, rubella and tetanus are six once-common illnesses that vaccines have contained for decades, saving many millions of lives.

Look bringing back polio sounds bad. But it’s a small price to pay to get rid of pronouns in email signatures and black women in star wars.

I hope we're in the beginning of a revolution. I'm tired of the 1% shitting on the rest of us. We make this country, not the big wigs who hoard money and resources. It's time we rise up.

They've also released hundred of prisoners some of which were tortured to the point of forgetting their own identity, others held for decades for speaking out against the regime. #freeSyria
