Guys, fascism is not a trick to make rich people richer. Radical reactionary populism is a real thing. People REALLY DO get self-destructively radicalized around social resentments, punishing marginalized groups for the psychic reward of seeing them suffer and feeling dominant.

Yea, this is true. Treating any ism as a trick the rich pull ignores that they believe it, too. Elites were phrenologists, it wasn't a backwoods tradition.
