it isnt a silver bullet, but its an option that we have to pressure those with power and its better than doing nothing.

SOPA/PIPA are also a well known case of an online surveillance/censorship bills that received a significant amount of backlash, and were not enacted as a result.

backlash from constituents are one way that people can pressure those in power, and has worked before

the last couple times KOSA was brought up, it failed in part due to backlash, to use this specific bill as an example.

I ask you to reconsider your support and remove yourself as a cosponsor.

Apparently S209, a KOSA-like bill, had 2 more meetings on October 22 amd 23 i did not see.

The site to these meetings is down, but if anyone can view them, look into them and raise awareness on their sentimemt behind the bill.
