They ‘Had Done Everything Right.’ ICE Detained Them Anyway.

This is not who we are supposed to be. Grabbing refugees off the street, separating parents from children and forcing people who were lawfully resettled to buy their own ticket home.

America was built on refuge, not fear. We must live up to that promise.

This is what impunity looks like. Reports of settlers burning villages, stealing livestock and beating residents.

This violence is enabled by an Israeli government that refuses accountability. As American Jews, we reject terror and dehumanization – whoever commits it.

I only took up the sport in 2019, and have been playing consistently since 2022 (I’m 55) so I’m still very new to the scene.
What I can say about hockey culture is that it has bee incredibly kind and generous for a game with such a thuggish and fearsome reputation.

I think this sounds great and I’m looking forward to reading more.
