I do it. To be fair it saves a lot of time.

While overall I enjoyed it, my main takeaway was that they could make a Gears of War movie and the armour wouldn't have to be dialed back.

First parts of Nanite Foliage pushed to UE5-Main today which includes the Voxel distance representations, upon some quick testing the perf increase in my scene was insane, 2x faster and looks much more dense too!

Is the opposite of "half assing" something whole assing, not assing or still just half assing?

Lightmass is for static lighting. Generally we encourage folks to use Lumen these days since static lighting is more performant but has a bunch of other drawbacks. If you didn't do it intentionally you may have a light set to Static or a Project setting astray.

Watched Sinners last night and I'm so glad I went in not knowing anything but a quick warning if you haven't seen it: it has both a mid & end credits scene. One of which is super important! HBO switches to suggesting movies before it gets to them. Only caught it because the soundtrack is a banger.
