I'm realizing that “intercalation” would naturally be pronounced “Compiler Language With No Pronounceable Acronymation” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INTERCAL )

(I'm aware of Phanpy, and I love almost everything about it, but somehow I *really* don't like the dark theme colors.)

Very happy with the new Mastodon version, which we just got on Hachyderm.

@mattl I could do it for my computer, but the students are doing their projects on their own computers.

There's around 50 people in the class, and many of them aren't particularly technically experienced, so I think it would be impractical to get everyone to change it.

@mattl also annoying in my music production class that the best freeware option for an FET compressor emulation is called “FETish” (https://www.patreon.com/posts/fet-bundle-51962024)

@mattl I teach a music business class where we use that for cleaning up images for business websites, and it's really annoying saying “OK, open the GNU Image Manipulation Program” every time

There are 8 parallel delays, and all outputs feed back into all inputs, multiplied by a matrix.
