And doubly so, younger artists, especially kids, dont always know that ettiquite. If its a genuine mistake theres no reason to send the damn hounds after them, just have a discussion in dms, explain why its a problem, and leave it be. We do not have to publicly execute people for every minor crime

Well and moreover... tracing IS a legitimate learning technique... if done right.
Claiming a one-to-one copy of someone elses work is a clown-ass move, but tracing poses rather than full work for your own benefit is fine if you keep it to yourself. It builds muscle memory

Overall. It feels a lot more shallow than the manga or the original run of the anime were, especially when you get characters who WILDLY break character but can't stick to it, subjects being given more gravity than they had but at half the runtime they had, and quiet parts being said out loud.

Pros: Knives is present from go

Cons: Knives is present from go, which gives you time to get used to his shit

Theres a ton more but thats all spoiler territory, so.

Pros: Legato has been cranked up to 800

Cons: hes still being underutilized and we havent seen his backstory yet so theres potential to ruin it

Pros: Meryl and Millie make more sense starting off as reporters tbh

Cons: we dont get to see Millie at all until Stargaze

Pros: most villains get left alive as per what Vash would want

Cons: that takes some wind out of his sails though now doesnt it

Pros: Wolfwood is played as the straight man in the group which is an interesting take

Cons: ... right up until he becomes the slapstick comic relief

In regards to Stargaze (I really like Stampede quite a bit but honestly the back half of this reboot has no idea what it wants to be and I have some fairly large concerns)

How. How do you make a reboot that is both slightly better in most regards but STAGGERINGLY worse in the ways that matter most
