No heart for this because Friday 13th is mean :( Sorry this happened to you! I was just finishing my morning coffee yesterday when the doorbell rang. It was the police, because burglars broke into every single cellar of our apartment building. AGAIN (4th or 5th time)

I think that's the best way to go about it, really. In recent years I've been so much more mindful about resources, not only because I've less money to spend. In the end it's also very satisfiying to use what you have ( at least I think so)

Moon set, worked from an earlier plein air study showing the Belt or Venus (pink band) and our earth’s shadow the blue band just above the horizon (I learnt about this later)

This is so beautiful. I love the quiet, calming atmosphere. Feeling at peace looking at it.

Fountain Pens are such a rabbit hole, haha! I’ve always been kind of a pen enthusiast, it’s so much fun to try new stuff. I have restricted my buying though, I gotta use what I have first (looking at you my brush and gel pens…)

The Uni Jetstream is one of my favourites! I have on on me at all times for writing 😭

And the guy of the company supplying her oxygen send us some more comfortable nose mask to try out for free, too. I actually like thinking back to some of the calls I made during that time, because people were often incredibly kind and helpful, really 😭

telling you, it was so hard not to cry. At first I was almost crying because no pharmacy had the stuff in stock I was literally speedrunning from pharmacy to pharmacy right before closing time after work. She was SO kind T_T

The atmosphere in this is wonderful 💙

They are all so cute!!! I especially like the cats of course and the tit! It makes me think of a friend and it would be a delight to gift one to her 😭

I think its really true that a little kindness can go a long way. I try to remember that every day.

During my this time I got a lot of help in a lot of different ways. It was a hard time but, it helps remembering the kindness of strangers and people I know alike.

Certainly for me that was a very big way of helping and for me she was truly an angel. I was already so stressed out with literally everything & without the material I wouldn’t have been able to properly care for my mums wounds and get her to the doc the next day.

When I was still taking care of my terminal ill mum I needed a certain type of bandage for the next day. Prescribed one not in stock. Doc already closed. The chemist in the 3rd pharmacy gave me the more expensive version and said they will take care of the new prescription. I almost cried.

Thank you for these story, it made me think of the times I was helped by strangers and it always restores my faith in humanity a little bit 💙
