Our team have been going on adventures to complete the Fife Coastal Path! 👣

So far we've only managed the stretch from Pathhead Sands-Aberdour & from Anstruther-Pittenweem, meaning it might have to be a 5-year ambition to complete 117 miles, but we hope to make some more progress on this in 2026! 💪

Focusing on Stellar Quines’ relocation from Edinburgh to Kirkcaldy, the project examines how intersectional feminist and place-based practices can reshape theatre-making and cultural value in Scotland.

We are delighted to be working alongside her for the next three years!

Amy’s PhD research, funded through the University of the West of Scotland & undertaken in partnership with Stellar Quines, explores how a feminist-led theatre organisation can challenge traditional ideas of legitimacy, cultural value and professionalisation.

She has worked for a variety of leading Scottish theatre organisations, including at the National Theatre of Scotland and Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland. She recently completed an MA in Arts, Festival and Cultural Management at Queen Margaret University, graduating with distinction.

A researcher, producer & theatre-maker with over a decade of experience across Scottish theatre. Her work spans producing, directing, dramaturgy, administration, & artist development, with a practice focused on new writing & equitable, feminist artistic approaches.
