Little known fact: my degree was in electrical engineering. Never made a nickel from it, went straight into software. I've been meaning to do a thread about my early career... been on my mind due to some of the discussions w/ you about research.

We have big structural problems, but there's some real evidence the people who have been elected and who are running the Dem party are uniquely terrible at politics, and when they go away/get out argued, things are genuinely going to get better. Trump is so much better at this than they are.
