"Tell me thou dost not find my words... alluring," he murmurs, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "I hath yet to detail the spices that shalt enliven this concoction."

"Verily..." The landscape artist he'd met with was talented, but it was certainly nothing like seeing it with his own eyes, feeling the breeze blowing through, nothing but clouds visible below...

He turns her hand over, whispering against her palm. "Roughly must thou tear the spinach into manageable morsels." Little nibbles to her fingertips. "If it pleaseth thou, saute the vegetables in a pan with olive oil, that the flavor may mature."

He reaches down to take her hand, threading their fingers together. "If 'tis so, then..."

Lifting her hand with his, he lightly kisses her fingers. "Pray fill the cookpot with water." More kisses to the back of her hand. "Whilst bringing it to a simmer, chop six carrots and one large onion."

"Hmm..." He can't help but smirk a bit. "Then mayhap if thou shouldst slumber upon me again, I shalt replace the storybook with a cookbook and observe the outcome."

He's mostly joking, of course, though a part of him is still slightly daunted at the prospect of himself actually *experiencing* new things, as opposed to reading about them from the safety of a library.

((Likewise - I support those who simply write what they wish to read, but I myself cannot be satisfied if what I write doth not find plausible footing within the source material's canon and real-world logistics. In truth, 'tis an exercise which maketh the process more satisfying for me. :D))

Urianger arrives shortly thereafter, with a small satchel he usually brings when he's venturing a ways from home; it's always wise to be prepared for various eventualities. "I believe all is ready... to Moghome, then?"

"And deny myself the pleasure of thy company?" he teases. "Nay - if thou yet required sleep, and it so happened, 'twould have been an acceptable outcome. Yet if thou were to remain awake, I believed thou might enjoy a story thou couldst follow, rather than merely the sound of my voice."

He smiles brightly in return, giving Panne a decisive nod. "Then I shall tuck away a bottle among mine effects, and meet thee at the aetheryte anon."

His eyes widen slightly - in surprise or alarm, it may be impossible to tell. But after a moment, he merely smiles. "Well then - bourbon it shalt be. The original recipe, that is; the Yok Huy kirkahryar hath inspired me to attempt a batch integrating their variety of corn, but 'tis still aging."

...Both int fish - and neither in the Source, at that. 'Tis fortunate I've hoarded aetheryte tickets, or this day wouldst be an expensive endeavor.

...And I hath just realized that not only is Aquamaton up twice today, but Esperance Carp is also - both int fish, yet their windows alternate.

At least Esperance int is absurdly simple - I showed up but a minute before the prior window and 'twas enough time to prepare.

'Tis fortunate 'tis "in-waiting", for it didst take some time to secure his Majesty. -_- Yet now I may attempt the lotl at will... and in the meantime I hath deviated from my intial targets a bit to catch Bobgoblin (as the chance didst arise) and the beastie who liveth in the falls behind mine home.

Fishing hath slowed of late, for but two fish remaineth for me to catch in ShB - Aquamaton and Lancetfish - and those remaining in DT all now experience significant downtime - aside from Lotl-in-waiting, who seemeth always to be up simultaneously with the Horned King.
