Charles Anderson Bridge Rehabilitation Project Rehabilitation of the Charles Anderson Bridge which connects South Oakland to Schenley Park and the East End

As work continues on the Charles Anderson Bridge, inspectors found additional steel deterioration that needs repaired to keep the bridge safe & reliable.

Because of these added repairs, the project will take longer than expected and the earliest the bridge is expected to reopen to traffic is 2028.

Task force outlines 5-year plan to eliminate blight in Pittsburgh and fund the land bank A price tag of $32 million a year for five years could eliminate blight in the city of Pittsburgh, according to the findings of a city task force charged to find funds for the city’s land bank.

Thank you to Councilman Bobby Wilson for spearheading this task force and to Sally Stadelman for her leadership of Pittsburgh’s Land Bank. I’m glad to be part of this effort to reduce vacant and abandoned properties across the City.

The Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition (SHUC) is hosting a Development Activities Meeting TONIGHT at 6 PM in regards to a proposed project at the Pittsburgh Golf Club.

I’m looking forward to continuing this work with my Council colleagues over the next four years.
