I was fortunate when I moved here in 1975 that my family was already here. I didn’t rely on my mom and dad for child care for my then 3-year-old, but they were there for emergencies.

My three daughters were all born naturally at home but with midwives. I wouldn’t have dreamed of doing it without help.
