I thought if I let go, I’d drown.
But eventually, I stopped struggling. I let myself float. And it turns out that was the whole point.

God is the stillness underneath it all. Jesus is the steady place we come to center.
And we both deserve love.

Loving him feels like waves.
Not dramatic, crashing ones—just steady movement. Rise and fall. Something constant and alive.

Be still; child.

I used to fight it. Tried to stay above it, control it, resist being carried anywhere.

For a long time, I told myself I didn’t deserve him. I repeated it so often it became a rhythm in my head. But then he commands a kiss, and I give it to him without hesitation. And for a moment, all of that doubt just... stops.

I like the way his skin feels beneath my hands—soft, warm, almost like the surface of a ripe peach. There’s a light fuzz along his arms that catches the light and reminds me he’s real. Human. Beautiful in a way that makes me gush like water overflowing in a sink.

"I’m proud nothing else worked out." I say it clearly this time. Not as a way to convince myself, but because I finally believe it. There’s a quiet truth in it now. A sense of peace I didn’t have before.

Pray for me to have a good family session next week . I agreed to it but I'm scared because my dad is ...unkind.

I did a lot of work in group therapy this week and am doing nothing but resting in the Lord this wekend.

It's a healing relationship. But no one said healing is easy and doing the right thing is easy.
