and i'm taking otc meds so there's not a lot of concern about taking one more dose even if my pain did happen to subside sooner than i was expecting, but idk. it's like my brain has decided i'm not suffering enough to deserve the relief. 🙃🙃🙃

i feel weird taking another dose of pain meds before the pain comes back. like i'm waiting the instructed amount of time before taking the next dose and i've been through this exact situation enough times to know the pain will still be there, but it still feels weird.

hmmm didn't get enough sleep last night and now my neck feels extra unstable,, like it shouldn't take so much energy to hold my head comfortably 🫠🫠

it is pretty interesting to see more medical signs though since that topic wasn't really covered in any of my courses

okay i knew this show was fast-paced but holy shit trying to read captions in another language really puts it into perspective

i just saw they released a version of 'the pitt' with asl captions so i know what i'm watching the next couple days in preparation for season 2

looking at st fic --> reading the tag "a frankly unrealistic amount of hanky code knowledge" --> thinking about zines being mailed out --> remembering a uni lecture about mail being censored --> looking up the comstock act --> seeing it's still a thing

lmao not me just now finding out the comstock act was never repealed because i was looking at fanfic 🙃🙃

(also yes i'm 🏴‍☠️ing it bc i want to see how it ends but don't want to actually support the show or some of its actors)

though it doesn't help that it's taken that long for the final season to come out 🙄🙄

it's kind of weird to finally rewatch a show after only interacting with it through fanworks for the past ~3.5 years

love to watch a show i can't actually see because i haven't made the room as dark as humanly possible 🙃🙃

unfortunately the only thing i was ever told i had was "acid reflux" -- i remember i saw multiple doctors about it, but idk about any official diagnoses -- but looking back it makes more sense to me that it was abdominal migraines

plus my i have a family history of migraines and i'm pretty sure i had abdominal migraines as a kid so there's a strong possibility i'm getting regular-degular migraines now

i should probably start documenting things like length, symptoms, possible triggers, etc. so i can maybe figure out if there's anything i can do to prevent it bc it really fucking sucks 😖😖

hmmm i noticed i've been waking up with headaches more frequently the past couple months 🙃🙃

finally took the time to dust my ceiling fan and switch the rotation direction,, maybe now my room won't feel so fucking cold all the time 🫠🫠

honestly thank fuck we haven't needed to turn the heating on yet bc the latest update said the power won't be back on until after midnight 🙃
