also i think the way oklahoma does their state contest is weird but i'm used to texas rules so 🤷🏻

i spent the weekend in oklahoma for my nephew's marching band contest and ended up sleeping for ~14 hours last night because i was so exhausted from the trip 🫩

i also decided to try and learn the norweigian purl and it sure is a bit fiddly

hmmm i went back to using straight needles after using circular ones for a couple months and i definitely find them more awkward to use and i think that's why i had so much trouble the first time i tried to learn to knit 🤔

i went grocery shopping this morning and would like to take a nap now but unfortunately i'm waiting on a call from my dentist so i can't do that 😞

oh i can already tell this season is gonna be so fucking annoying

every time my parents are out of town i send them daily pictures of the dog just as a simple update and whenever they're at one of my siblings' places i get various pet pics in return it's great 🤗🤗

been reworking a crochet project and holy shit single crochet is so fucking tedious 😭😭

came back from my 10 day trip like "wow! my cactus and succulents got so big!!! that's so weird!!!" not remembering i actually fertilized them for the first time in probably a couple years before we left

just saw 'orphan black' is on netflix,,, might have to bump that to the top of my watch list bc i never did actually finish it even though i really liked it

got most of my stuff unpacked and put away already,, now i'm just waiting until it's time to give the dog his meds and then i'm going to fucking bed 🫩🫩

finally made it home 🙌🏻🙌🏻

decided to either leave it for the car ride or just wait until i'm back home to start it

oh hell yeah just noticed this is on netflix!!! gonna start it next and then maybe download some eps for my car ride home 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

at least i've got time to rewatch 'high potential' before season 2 starts in a couple weeks

you know a fucking nap would be nice but i can't get the dog to settle for long enough or trust him not to do crimes if i actually did manage to fall asleep 😞😞

i have walked the dog around the apartment complex several times today, i'm so fucking tired y'all and i have at least 4 more days of this 😭😭

one positive is that the dog does not go into bathrooms so i don't have to worry about him getting into the cats' litter boxes
