13.10.2025 07:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Happy to see my book review of Hannah Chazin's book 'Live stock and dead things' is online! Thanks @antiquity.ac.uk for asking me to read and review this wonderful book on human-animal relations; I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the role of animals in past societies!

"This is a well-researched, highly original and thought-provoking book that challenges readers to confront their own biases... [Chazin] not only reinterprets zooarchaeological data but also equips us to rethink humanβanimal relations in the present and future." 2/2
