Trump was expected to talk about the US war with Iran. He quickly pivoted to praising his ‘beautiful’ ballroom. - The Boston Globe The comments drew swift criticism from Democratic lawmakers, who said touting a new ballroom during an armed conflict was insulting to American troops.

Trump is way more concerned about the gold drapes in his ballroom than the gold star families he’s made with this damn war.

As much as I want survivors to get some justice, I am not comfortable with labeling every awful thing Trump does as a distraction from the Epstein files.

Trump is capable of perpetrating all sorts of violence at the same time simply because he is one of the most violent people on the planet. 1/2

And the problem with this country is that it’s led by people who don’t think of other people’s children as their own.

Remember that this is a man who had the following to say after a school shooting in Iowa:

“It’s just horrible – so surprising to see it here. But we have to get over it. We have to move forward.”

People die and he just doesn’t care.

We do ourselves a disservice by not acknowledging that. Everything he does is based on violence and driven by his endless need for power.

I learned to drive highways on the LIE. And now I drive in Boston. Not really sure which is worse.

Abusers retaliate against those who dare question their power. Set limits. Say no.

It is peak abusive behavior to demand something and then lash out when the demand is not met.

I will have way more to say about this, but let me first shout this from my rooftop again…

I am a gun violence prevention advocate. We cannot solve gun violence in the United States when the perpetrator of gun violence is the government of the United States.

I just attended an event that focused on dreaming about the world we want to build, and it was a balm for my soul.

The work is hard, the harm is overwhelming, and there are still a lot of people who want to build something different. And do it together. I am grateful for that.

Essentially every "illegal" gun in USA started life as legal.

So, this production and distribution will make that even worse.
