Topeka Correctional Facility is pairing cats with convicts with PHAT Cat program Inmates at the Topeka Correctional Facility were given two kittens to get them adoption-ready and one cat for end-of-life care.

Three cats from the Helping Hands Humane Society have joined the Topeka Kansas Correctional Facility as part of the PHAT Cat program. Inmates will care for the cats, providing socialization, training and end-of-life care.
