We were at the Rogers Centre that day. A memorably stressful & frustrating Canada Day. We donβt automatically get those games as part of our #BlueJays ticket paks anymore. Call it being gun shy.

The cost of a passport is a very minor proportion of the cost of international travel, and itβs valid for 10 years. Itβs a bargain.

This is how Canadians, with funding from our Government, help lower prices and provide local production!!
The opportunities are endless.
Environmental and efficient!
In retirement I volunteer with a small non-profit dedicated to the preservation of immigration history. Weβre mostly (though not exclusively) former government officials who worked in Canada and overseas, so much of what we focus on are big events in our careers, like the boat people movement.

DeLorey says Poilievreβs upcoming trip to Germany & the UK is a message to get our products to market.
Letβs see - how many times has it been mentioned that Poilievre has never in all these years made an overseas trip?

Are there any differences?
World view for starters: PM Carney is a much bigger thinker, Poilievre has his sights set on domestic policy only.
Why did I feel I'd already heard Pierre Poilievre's Feb 26 speech? Oh right, most of it has already been said by PM Mark Carney. Polievre's speechwriters re-wrote Carney's salient points from the last month or so, structured it the same way too.

One has to read to the end of the piece to stop being rankled by the first short paragraph. Alberta can't seem to come to terms with the fact that oil doesn't pay for everything - can't contemplate a PST or a change to the lowest provincial taxes.
