Here's what'll happen. Labor will get its lowest ever primary vote at the next election. "Centrist" rusted-ons will blame lefties, instead of themselves, because liberalism is political narcissism drenched in sanctimony, and shit will just keep getting worse.

I think younger ppl today need to know about it, to be reminded how fragile democracy can be, even in a politically stable place like Australia. And Gen Xers like me grew up in the aftermath of the Dismissal, but don't always know the ins and outs of it.

Does anyone following #auspol know whether the ABC SBS is doing anything to mark the 50th anniversary of the Dismissal? Maybe I've missed the promos or I'm too early, but 11/11 is not far away and I've heard diddly squat 🤔
