Since killing off a group of youngsters would've been a bit more tricky, he thought of Melody as a much easier target.

Watching from a distance behind a tree, a figure in black wearing a blue mask could be found stalking Mel as she went on to travel the woods all alone.

As the brunette unknowingly passes him, Jack (the figure in black) decides to follow her, albeit carefully & quietly as possible.
