I adore how Masque was photographed. The multiple color schemes and the wide shots of the landscape surrounding Prospero's castle looks magnificent ttd. Very atmospheric and full of imposing dread. The finale is amazing.

Oh yes, agreed. Despite the weird comedic turn of Poe material, it's still a fun watch. But, Pit and the Pendulum & House of Usher are spectacular Poe/Price/Corman films. Very spooky and atmospheric like it should be.

God, I adore this movie. Seeing a young Jack Nicholson here is fantastic. Price, Court, Karloff and Lorre all shine. Lorre steals his scenes though and gets great dialog.

I plan on reading Holly soon! She is a good character in The Outsider. Would definitely like to read more work with her in it. I believe she is in the Mr. Mercedes books also.
