OVER 80% RENEWABLE
Germany is winning its fight against climate change?!
Germany's electricity grid is moving fast towards a carbon-free electricity grid.
However, are the good results in summer enough?

Renewable energy ATTRACTS new industry and won't take manufacturing jobs away.
South Australia's electricity grid will achieve 100% renewable electricity in the coming years.
This has led to MORE industry in the area.
Want a real boost to manufacturing jobs? Go green

Nuclear is back on the table in Europe, but Germany wants out. Meanwhile, the US brags about being the worldโs top nuclear power producer. Is nuclear the real path to energy security, or just another political football? #NuclearDebate #energysky
03.06.2025 19:12 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0You have to consider that the reactors were old and at the end of their life span. It would have cost billions to renew them. That money is better spent on S&W and hydrogen
03.06.2025 18:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Renewable energy should never be pitched as a way of saving the environment.
The sad reality is that people just don't care.
Renewable energy, like any technology to mitigate climate change, should be pitched as a way to make money. And this pitch works!

Possibly true. But you can't change the past and new nuclear is too expensive

... working?
On Saturday over 70% of the country's electricity mix came from renewable sources. It seems like the massive investments into renewables is starting to pay off.
Germany is leading the energy transition (at least in the summer).

Poland ๐ต๐ฑ is transitioning away from fossil fuels fast.
Europe's fastest growing economy is also one of Europe's fastest grid decarbonization countries.

Romania has uncovered a NATURAL HYDROGEN reservoir hidden within ancient ophiolite rock formations. ๐๐ง
Ophiolite + water = 100% clean hydrogen.

Six cents per kWh!
There are just plain not going to be any more fossil fueled electric power plants getting built outside of the countries still being run by fossil fools very soon. ๐๐ก
I mean you have to process the gas that you extract but once you have done that, then yes it is
26.05.2025 16:05 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Best for decarbonizing hard to decarbonize sectors like steel manufacturing. In theory it could also replace fossil fuels in the energy mix

What is the energy source of the future?
It's natural hydrogen.
CNBC explains why here:

Natural hydrogen is replacing green hydrogen. As it should.

What if I told you the next energy revolution is already under our feet? ๐ Natural hydrogen: unlimited, carbon-free, and ready nowโno waiting for fusion dreams. Are we about to rewrite the energy rulebook? #energysky

Natural hydrogen is what nuclear fusion has always tried to be: cheap, abundant, and carbon free.
Pay attention to it.
Solution: hydrogen storage, ideally from natural hydrogen

22.05.2025 15:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is Germany's electricity mix last Tuesday. Over 60% comes from renewables. However, 22% still come from coal power plants. I think that it should be the new government's highest priority to replace the coal with renewables or at least with less harmful fossil fuels
