Maybe it’s more beneficial to ask for an example rather than a person. I’m aware of some people accused of being fascist, but haven’t been able to find fascist things those people have said or written.

That makes sense. I just have a difficult time identifying fascist ideas in modern discourse. Who is arguing that the government should increase its control over the domestic economy? (FYI I’m asking this in good faith. I legitimately don’t understand what evidence we have of a rise in fascism.)

This whole obsession with fascism confuses me. Aside from taxes and regulation, in what way is the government trying to seize direct control over the economy? Are people referring to the intelligence agencies strong arming social media companies into censorship?
