Yet of all of the ways to make money, the torturous heinous cruelty of what this regime is doing beggars belief

Oh yes I am familiar with the similarities with the slave patrols and the historical abuses.
We thought usa was an unruly teenager figuring out how to be a responsible adult.
We were wrong.
America saw the worst of humanity and said sign us up for more of our most despicable selves

The USA has always been a force of evil and cruelty, they have just industrialized their cruelty.
But why? Why gulags? Why purpose do they fill?
Why so many cages instead of just sending people back to their home countries

So our southern neighbours will give theirs up.
Good, it’s the craziest and one of the worst regimes.

I only cook with what I or my neighbours have grown or raised, or bought from local farm markets, then lastly what I need from Asian grocery or mainstream grocery only non-usa items
We have renewed our love for leeks and turnips 😁

21.02.2026 02:23 β€” πŸ‘ 9    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes many believe that to be true and in most cases the consumer did pay all/most of the direct tariff costs. I also know for a fact, many of the larger corporations actually didn’t pass on direct tariff costs. This made smaller companies less competitive, therefore hurt their sales/business the most

20.02.2026 17:39 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You do understand that tariffs go straight to the govt?
Nobody except the govt collected any of it

20.02.2026 17:16 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

For what?
They didn’t do anything wrong

20.02.2026 17:15 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Many of the larger corporations actually absorbed the costs
It’s the smaller ones that couldn’t who bore the bulk of the damage to their business

Then SK could continue to partner with Canada in manufacturing and buying from each other to support our defence sectors and build reliable military alliances against our common enemies

20.02.2026 16:42 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Canadians not wanting to travel to Arizona or Florida now cancelling trips to Cuba
