I'm so conflicted with the feedback regarding having a run button to active running. And after seeing a few people just not run at all. I guess despite it feeling good to me, its best to remove the walk function and only run? It feels so wrong to me as I grew up playing Mario.

Originally started off as a sleeping obstacle due to it being day time, then made a night level and made an awake version. Then I decided all the enemies would be clown themed to match the boss's vibe.

So I started the Sunnie rebuild. It's going pretty well. Im building her using a state machine instead of a giant single script. The state machine helped me add things I wanted in the demo. Like now, there's an in-between frame between jump and fall.

Why does coding have to be a pendulum swing of feeling amazing something is working and struggling to get something to work.

I absolutely love the chaoticness that is Super Mario World's "style". So many of my SMW inspired sprites don't have enough jank to fit.
