The entirety of the Internet contains a lot of great information...and some misinformation. 'Wrong' data looks just like 'right' data, but poisons outcomes. And both data are used to inform LLMs.

It’s remarkably easy to inject new medical misinformation into LLMs Changing just 0.001% of inputs to misinformation makes the AI less accurate.

Do you trust a know it all?
Big LLMs are exactly that.

A lot of what they say is correct. But they also hallucinate. Misinterpret. Or flat out lie. And they won't tell you when they're certain or fibbing. We all know this is a problem.
