Even though my passport states November 10th as my starting date, I actually started Idyllwood on the 9th. My system time was one day off, which was corrected right after starting my island. No time travel effects there! 😘

I understand the appeal because progress in ACNH can be a major time and energy investment when some players just want to decorate!

In my opinion, however, the slow progression itself is the fun. 🥹

This was a consequence of me testing time travel out of curiosity. Honestly, it was only once, but I quite regret it.

I like having island advancements sync up to real-time, giving me a sense of fulfillment and investment. Personally, it's nice to have something to look forward to every day.
