This season is the first time I felt the Bulls FO was getting close to a tank plan and they’d still rather see Josh and Coby carry the group to the playoffs while Matas grows. It’s just not going to be their MO.

This is a totally fair point. I just don’t trust this front office to purposefully tank, which is why I lean toward the trade.

If the Bulls don’t execute the trade, they won’t be doing so *to* tank, at least with their current outlook.

IMO, the only way it could be a bad thing is if the Bulls give up too much.

The current roster isn’t working and it would be positive for Matas and Co. to learn alongside that kind of big.

Worst case scenario, they start losing in a different way.

The free-falling Bulls need help. Could Chicago native Anthony Davis offer answers? Anthony Davis is a proven defensive superstar. He’s a Chicago native. And his addition would immediately redefine the Bulls’ weakest area.
