@bbc do your job. Tell us about Nathan Gill, the UKIP rootin’ for Putin bribe taker

More Farage Brexit success.

Reform UK's Nathan Gill asked 'sweetheart' questions for Russia and admitted it, When Nigel Farage asked the same questions is that the same. If NF was approached by Russian activists and said no, why didn't he report it to the authorities.

If you want to stop the growth of Reform. Vote for a party that opposes them like the Liberal Democrats.

Why vote for a party that that β€œunderstands” and β€œsympathises” with people who vote for them? Farage’s poison politics has to be defeated. Not accommodated!

Farage has forgotten the popularity of β€˜Educating Yorkshire” and forgotten the lived experience of literally millions of families . Stupid, stupid man.

That's true. But they need to stop the anti migration rhetoric now , which is how Fascist Farage sold Brexshit too. I am still very angry about this shit show, not content with wrecking the country ,Farage is coming after my family again, with his German passport and his EU pension too, hypercrite.

I love this

So Tice says, "Vote Green, get weirdo."

1) All my best friends are "weirdos," I'm a "weirdo."All the best people are

2) As opposed to "Vote Reform, get Fascists."

I'll take a weirdo every time

Alfie Franco jailed for 23 years for murder of Syrian refugee The 20-year-old has been sentenced for the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old in Huddersfield.

We hear a lot from Farage about crime and immigrants but not enough about crime against refugees. This is shocking

Not sure how anyone can think of Farage as anything other than a lying grifter. There seems to be an inbuilt need in a certain stratum of British society that needs to be led by a spiv in a suit.

UPDATE: It took Nigel Farage over two weeks to finally respond to Nathan Gill’s conviction for eight counts of bribery for taking payments from a pro-Russian Ukrainian MP and close associate of one of Putin’s closest allies, Viktor Medvedchuk. Now new information has come to light.

WHAT A CONTRAST!

Starmer’s ’great misjudgment’ is stark.
He failed - actually he didn’t try - to take the British people with him. Instead he ignored them, he betrayed their trust. There is no way back.

Polanski’s positivity? We like it. This is the way forward.

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

Labour’s softening stance towards China reinforced by dropped spy case In an attempt to reset the relationship the government is refusing to describe China as a national security threat despite evidence to the contrary

Starmer's approach to China is as ironic as it is contemptible.

Yet again, the human rights lawyer PM finds himself in the company of and advancing the interests of those who act contrary the principles he used to defend ... or acting contrary to them himself.

A contemptible idiot.

Surge in Chagos arrivals prompts row over housing costs Dozens of Chagossians have flown in to Heathrow Airport this week, putting pressure on housing services.

Who benefits from this Chagos Islands deal? The British don't, having to lease back islands we owned for billions. The Chagossians don't even want to stay there any more. Only Mauritius benefits. Starmer seems a weird and disturbing character.

This is what LAB is to say when they announce tax rises. Please forgive me if I keep repeating it but LAB is complicit in Brexit.

Will the UK taxpayer be forced to continue servicing Farage/Tory driven debt/economic downturn or will Starmer be sensible + move to #RejoinEU?
I suspect the former - which leaves the UK hating Faridge AND Starmer. Still being poorer. Still with public service cuts. Still not taxing wealth.

The budget pain is not bad luck. It is Brexit’s bill.
A weaker pound, slower growth, higher borrowing costs, all made in the referendum.
So when you pay more tax, remember who sold the dream.
The architect of this austerity the creator of this scenario , the maker of these taxes…was Nigel Farage.

We were told #Brexit would save billions.
Instead it cost billions, and the Treasury scrambles for every pound.
Wages stagnate, taxes rise, services fall.
The public pays for Farage’s fantasy. He complains it’s not the right sort of Brexit. He walked away. We pick up the tab. #faragetaxes #rejoineu

#Farage promised freedom and left us chained to debt.
Covid bonds, weak trade, lost investment, now the budget bleeds.
Every tax rise should carry his name. #faragetaxes
He wanted sovereignty. He delivered insolvency. He lied, He walked away. #RejoinEU is the solution not ReformUK.

To be fair, the government doesn’t talk nearly enough about the economic fallout from Farage’s pet project, Brexit - either what it’s already cost us or what’s still to come.

In both cases, the answer is pretty much the same: a bit shit.

This feels well overdue.
