I remember some "Public Health Guarantee" from the UCP.

We can safely guarantee the UCP will lie.

Alberta promises billions for health care, but new hospital towers still years away | CBC News As the Alberta government promises to address pressures on hospitals and improve surgical wait times, while also grappling with a deficit budget, there are questions about where it is choosing to spen...

Incompetent and cruel.

"β€œWe’re not talking two years away. We’re talking many years away. And Edmonton simply cannot wait that long to get more hospital beds,” he said.

The budget, according to Manns, does not align with the messaging from government."

Is this "Israel has a right to defend itself." enough for you?

Can't believe the brainwashed all concerned about Iran might have nukes (they don't) ... but this is fine?

We do know Israel has lots of nukes, and won't sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.

Genocide and extermination and targeting hospitals and schools is not defending in my view.

And of course that Overton Window is moving right. What's centrism now is what conservative used to be.

Agree but they were almost being done right, but the corporations and oligarchs have pushed neoliberalism and that's locked in now with our big parties. Keynesian economics was much friendlier than this Friedmanesque dystopia, ie.

"the sole social responsibility of business is to maximize profits"

Deaths will continue to rise until the government addresses the root problem, which is the unregulated drug supply, Ward told The Tyee."

43 Committees and the Hidden Power Grab in Bill C-15 How the government is using Bill C-15 to silently rewrite laws, and why this unprecedented legislative sweep matters to your rights.

"strip away regulatory oversight

The government insists these changes are necessary to navigate a fractured global economy and to protect the nation. Critics argue that the bill sacrifices democratic transparency on the altar of speed and corporate expediency."

There should be no referendum. It's unconstitutional.

If there is, I think Alberta is in big trouble.

Maybe a landslide "stay" will avert it. But I'm afraid of the "rigged" calls and then an appeal to Trump.
