I’m figuring out how to be an artist, who continues branching out as a multidimensional, who is a 35-year old Black trans woman, in the midst of a lot of shit happening in life and in the world, on social media that’s always changing. I’m just going to have to DO IT. No matter what.

The music I created was connected to today’s experience and I remember why such music was made.

That is not a coincidence. ✨

I see @danielaquirke.bsky.social bought a copy of Cycles Into Springs, my most recent music and sound offering, and I’m thinking, “I should probably take a listen to my own music.”

Sometimes you need a dose of your own medicine, especially if you created it.

I’m sitting on the ottoman in the kitchen. It’s temporarily there because the ceiling is getting painted. I feel my body get calmer while listening to the verbal meditation. It’s over, and I get back to my laptop and discover I made an album sale during my breathing time. 😃

I come across a YouTube video that gives me a message to be calm and to not operate from desperation. And I know how I am when I get that way. I definitely don’t feel in alignment with anything and cause the blocks. But I understand that’s not what I want to continue doing, so I breathe.

So… STORYTIME! Which rarely happens here these days.

I’m sitting around, feeling the beginnings of a stress episode, wondering how I’m going to take care of all my expenses for March. The contractor is in the final stages of working on my ceiling and I go to the kitchen to breathe.
