Not taking it seriously is, of course, the more serious attitude.

An artist is a type of trickster. Some of them are so good at it, they trick themselves into taking it seriously.

jpeg files are physical too. They're just not much of an obstacle.

I have to get really obsessive about physical painting. jpeg files are not a sufficient ornament for my early death.

I asked him if everything was alright and he confirmed that it was and he slowly shuffled across the parking lot. Vague notion that I had been rude somehow, that I broke some minor rule of conduct. As if the affect is more important than the action. It's not.

Stranger was sitting on his walker at the entrance of the store. Said he couldn't get up and asked me to help him, so I did. He was still holding a lit cigarette. Said he doesn't want to burn my jacket. I said I'm not wearing a jacket, completely missing his concern for the integrity of my attire.

The snake is the eel of the land and the eel is the snake of the water. There are also water snakes, which are the land eels of the water. Sometimes eels go across land as well, which makes them the water snakes of the land (distinct from water snakes, which are land eels of the water, as mentioned)

The dream would be to be without body, to go freecam mode, but only a body could have that dream.

Reality is excessively generous. Compared to what? What would a non-excessive generosity look like? You could be content with this if it weren't equally generous in its outpouring of atrocities. Every fragment is worth spending several lifetimes on, but you are limited so you have to move on.

I've deliberately developed a technique to look as dead as possible in photographs. I'm proud of the result. I'm calmer and more content than ever before.
