I was delighted to join the #Rhiwbina #Rhiwbeina Community
at the Ysgol Cylch Meithrin Rhiwbeina celebrations to mark their 60th Birthday at Bethel Church, as well as to founder Gwilym Roberts on his 90th.
We were treated to wonderful performances by the children's choir & Gwilym unveiled a plaque.

I would like to wish all the Jewish people in #Rhiwbina and #Cardiff a very happy #RoshHashana and a sweet New Year.

I hope the time will be full of happiness and joy. #ShanaTova.

On the way back from an event tonight, Adrian Robson spotted this charming dog so I had to take a photo! Neither of us were driving!

This afternoon was my last governing body meeting at Greenhill Special School in #Rhiwbina.

I have been a Governor there for 28 years, and have enjoyed working alongside three Headteachers

Pleased to be invited with Adrian Robson to the Seafarers Remembrance Service in #Cardiff Bay which was organised by The Merchant Navy Association. The event was officiated by Fr Dean Atkins who is the Honorary Chaplain to the Port of Cardiff. The music was provided by Symphonic Brass Cardiff.

Good luck to Electric Umbrella tonight. I first found out about this amazing group when I was working for Dean Russell (former Government Minister and MP for #Watford) who supported their work. This #Watford group are amazingly talented and I have my fingers crossed for them tonight.

There are just a handful of tickets left on Thursday & Saturday night to see 'Calamity Jane & the Wild Wenallt.' We had a few people in for the dress rehearsal & they laughed so we hope you will enjoy it. There will be wine, soft drinks & a raffle also! Thanks to Rhydian Payne for the photographs.

I’m at rehearsals for ‘Calamity Jane and the Wild Wenallt’. Learning a Wild West accent is far from easy… The cast are so lovely and we all support each other. Shows are taking place in early May.

We enjoyed a very busy PACT meeting tonight with our local PC and PCSO South Wales Police for #Rhiwbina.

Thank you to Harley Jones for chairing the meeting.

Lots of issues raised which we will report back on at the next meeting. The topics ranged from stolen cars to parking problems.

Residents have been in touch to say they have read about some of the council's waste streams in #Rhiwbina being cancelled. I can confirm that this is not the case.

The production will take place in May in #Rhiwbina.

I am starting speech therapy this week (due to my vocal issues), so hope to be practising my lines soon!
