So the problem is the vehicles, which usually contain one person, forcing the cyclists to switch between sides of the traffic to allow them to safely filter.
Personally I leave them plenty of room, and always keep an eye on my mirrors when queuing.

That's good news then. Not sure it restores my faith, given the results I've had lately, but each one is a positive.

And another one rejected today. Not 1 but 2 close passes from this driver, only to get 100 yards down the road to sit in the traffic as I went by.

You just get a genetic email back if they're not taking action, but there are a number of excuses for that on the email.
It's getting really tedious now, and means I won't be reporting many in the future. It's not worth my time.

It's been bad for the past 18 months or so, but it's getting worse.
Don't know if they're swamped with submissions, or they've just got bored or processing them, or maybe just don't have the staff to look at all submissions.

They used to be really good, but they really have let standards slip over the last 18 months or so.

Funny thing is the few they have actioned recently I was on the fence about submitting them, because looking at the footage they didn't look that bad. Obviously at the time I thought they were though.

Maybe just riding primary position everywhere is the answer. 🤔

2 of these passes were really dangerous, and both of the drivers ended up sat in traffic less than 100 yards down the road. Maybe becoming one of those vigilante cyclists is the way forward. Dish out some revenge while they're sat in traffic.

It's all just a waste of time. I have better things to do with my evenings than report shit drivers, but now they don't even action the reports it's even more of a waste of time.

Getting more and more despondent with Operation Snap and West Yorkshire Police. 3 dangerously close passes last week, where I could have easily reached out and touched the vehicle, and they've said they're perfectly fine. Despite me providing video footage, screenshots, measurements, etc.

Interesting to know. I fancy doing a bike tour and Scotland is top of my list, well after The Balkans anyway 😂

New winter cycling shoes ordered. Let's hope these Shimano ones last longer than the Planet X ones have.

Will look into it. I fancy a cycling holiday this year. Was looking at Calpe / Denia area, or maybe do a bike tour of Cambodia, but Andalusia is always a good trip.

We did Malaga Christmas before last, basing ourselves in Málaga old town, and really enjoyed it, despite the hills!
Done Granada on a day trip, plus other places near there, plus we did a tour of Andalusia over Christmas in a campervan, but never that bit.

That's a part I've not really visited, so interested to see how you get on.

Contacted Planet X about this issue and they've looked into it and issued a full refund, as they don't have any shoes in stock right now.

Their quality has gone downhill faster than some of their bikes!
