One idea is for a given lawmaker to announce an oversight visit for every day, at every ice concentration camp. AFAIK, nothing ice's regulation (which conflicts with federal law) requires that visit to take place.

Today is the day we honor those who died overseas stopping the same thing many of you are ignoring here at home--fascism.

I'm not an expert, but I think the answer is yes - the courts can deputize anyone.
