My great uncle used to make up words and use the wrong phrases on purpose all the time. I just found out a few months ago from my husband that one of the things I say is actually just a Spanish question, not the item I'm asking for. I've gotten strange looks for years and no one else told me.

Walked into my favorite plant store to get advice on a terrarium my husband and I made. Walked out with just the advice and no other plant children. Weird day.
