It had been a while since Rocket was heard from. But at last after a long hiatus he makes his return.

No he isn’t dead.

No he wasn’t abducted by ravagers.

No he hasn’t retired.

He was just having some much needed R&R.

When she spoke to him again he snaps out of it with a quick “Huh?”

“Oh. Uh sure. Sounds good.” Rocket nodded.

“Don’t remember the last time I ate Earth eggs. If ever.”

Her kisses did things to Rocket that where so pleasant he couldn’t put it into words. He even let out a brief squeak when kissed again, the response he was going to give halting completely in place of a moment’s daze. >

“That so? Might need to arrange somethin’.” He winks.

“Sweet? Me?” Rocket blinks at this before with a shake of his head he replies “Nah. I ain’t that sweet. But to you? I can be.” He offers a loving smile albeit it rough and out of practice. The sincerity was there though.

Well things could have been much worse. Although that kiss came as a bit of a surprise to Rocket, his ears perking up as stiffened up a moment before relaxing, it certainly calmed him down. That feeling it gave him helped a lot. Heck >
