A monochromatic comic following Kai from Ninjago. He appears in this as a young child in a t-shirt and trousers with a plaster on his cheek. The first panel shows him lying awake in his bed, with text saying "There is a monster under my bed". The word 'monster' is highlighted red. The next two panels show him waking up his parents with text reading "Last night I asked Dad and he scared it away". Kai's father is shown checking under his bed before telling Kai, who is hovering in the doorway, that the monster is gone. Text beneath these panels reads "But Dad didn't come home today.
