SIGMOD Opening was fully packed. Joe Hellerstein and Azza Abouzied welcomed the audience. Christos H. Papadimitriou gave an inspiring talk on "How to Build a Brain". Followed by honoring Carlo Zaniolo with the Codd Innovation Award.

SIGMOD/PODS Impressions of Monday June 22nd.
The day took off with an amazing keynote by Virginia Vassilevska Williams and continued with PODS Awards talks, research sessions, and the DaMoN workshop. It concluded with a lovely SIGMOD reception
