huh! We did all the hymn and prayer stuff and primary but I have zero recollection of needing to do that shit at secondary.

I'm pretty sure none of this happened at secondary school for me. I only remember pretending to pray at primary school, sitting on the floor.

hahah why did I also get an illustrated bible (for xmas) even tho my family weren't religious in the slightest. Some of the hymns were nice to sing I guess but god the mandatory prayers were boring. I don't remember it being discussed ever, just that it was the rules that we pray together & shit

So much of concept work is meat and potatoes props. But that work is fun and fills a space! The palette team on Marathon did a brilliant job bringing my concepts to life 💙

My photo shows a museum display with colourful Minoan pottery cups arranged on three clear shelves, one above the other. These cups, known as Kamares Ware, are from Phaistos, Crete. They were made in palace workshops, c. 1800-1700 BC. The cups range in shape and size from conic and cylindrical cups (top and middle shelves) to hemispherical and carinated shaped cups (bottom shelf). They are decorated with multi-coloured geometric motifs; with spirals and swirls painted in red and white pigment on black.

Sipping my coffee ☕️ and thinking about these marvellous Minoan cups!

They look so modern it’s incredible to think they were made during the Bronze Age some 3,800 years ago!

CAIRN is terrific -- its focused, unique climbing mechanic feels natural & is challenging without feeling unfair; the survival mechanics feel appropriate to the environment & aren't cumbersome to the point of annoyance. Plus there are tons of accessibility/difficulty adjustments. Big thumbs up!

For folks curious, a chunk of my concepting was for Field Maintenance in Dire Marsh and designing the big harvester vehicles. What @ninehydras.dev and the world art/palette team did is so so rad

Yup, I was so excited to play but ended up lying down for half an hour with regrets and didn't pick it back up again. At least it was a dodgy control scheme accident and avoidable

I have! I would prefer that control scheme, it makes more sense to me. I think I only felt nauseous because I rolled a LOT, out of control. Seemed to be something wrong with the controls.

My mom donated to the Smithsonian and we got dad’s name on a plaque at the Air and Space Museum in DC. It felt important as he flew so many aircraft and dedicated his life to being a pilot. The best way to honor him.
