Sort of. I don't work at a Catholic hospital (anymore) but I do know how medical ethics issues are handled.

I think intentionally causing hypogonadism and the medical risks associated with it would probably make for an ethics committee referral and potential workarounds (patient's family brings home med, it's not officially given by the hospital, etc)

Because they believe affirming a "false identity" goes against God's perfect design.

Did you not find out about the official update that was issued last month? There is no longer any local bishop control.

I wish it wasn't true, but unfortunately it is.

Also, official Catholic doctrine is that your medical records must only show your "birth sex" and that only your legal name and birth sex pronouns can be used.

Fun fact: If you're trans and get admitted to a Catholic hospital, they won't give you HRT even if you've been on it for years, and even if you're post-op (unless it's for endocrine disorder, and even then, they'll fight it).

So keep that in mind.
