11/ and there is no such thing as a human who is not entitled to the full fruits of their labor.
[nor any human who is entitled to anything less than basic dignity, safety, and plenty; with or without labor.]

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNSKILLED LABOR.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNSKILLED LABOR.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNSKILLED LABOR.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNSKILLED LABOR.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNSKILLED LABOR.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNSKILLED LABOR.
9/ there is no room for empathy in that math, never mind dignity or equity.

and that dubious title is granted only because โslaveโ and โpropertyโ were [violently] driven out of fashion, both legally and socially โโmostly, for the time being.
8/ still, today, in every place, in every way, and to the furthest extent that employers can get away with it โโlegal or otherwiseโโ productivity is driven toward infinity, while wages are depressed toward zero; and all other costs are externalized.
number must go up.
7/. in the US, it is the lingering residue, and the constant threat, of slavery โโthe ultimate severance of value from the human beings who produce it; the evil, destructive lie upon which capitalism was built.

capital will always say:
"rules, punishment, hardship for thee, but not for me.
freedom, dignity, plenty for me, but not for thee.
i will take the value of your labor,
plus the credit, title, and rewards of it as well.
all that you sow, i will reap.
all that you deserve, i will enjoy..
4/ ..so the cycle of caste apartheid [formal or otherwise] retrenches.
custom and law protect the owners/bosses without restraining them, while restraining the workers without protecting them.
3/ worse, the cumulative deleterious effects of the severe exploitation, demoralization, and physical toll perpetrated upon the worker, then become, in the mind of the owner [and customer], further justification for such awful treatment. the enshrined meritocracy mythos both reinforces and veils it,
11.11.2025 18:52 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 02/ the dehumanization is part-and-parcel of the โunskilledโ designation.
in order to profit so greatly from exploiting human labor so ruthlessly, the mind simply cannot cope with the cognitive dissonance brought about by acknowledgement of workersโ full and equal humanity.
1/ plus, every barista [and front-line service worker of every kind] in the US is spoken to dozens of times a dayโโby both customers and managementโโ in ways that not a single C-suite exec would [or could!] tolerate even once, ever, from anyone [except someone with the power to fire/ruin them?].

true for every โunskilledโ job everywhere.
the very term โunskilled laborโ was an misnomer invented by the owner class to describe categories of workers they refuse to pay a livable wage, to wrap a veil of meritocracy around their white/male-superemacist fantasies and preserve their empire.
I have anxious disaster brain from navigating a lifetime of disasters, and I genuinely hate how it keeps being proven useful and correct.
