So I asked Claude to write a screenshot test demonstrating the bug, then fixed the bug. I didn’t have to test my fix in prod, since my screenshot tests verified the fix.

And it’s my fault. I didn’t write a screenshot test for this dropdown. It’s especially appalling since it’s super easy to write sophisticated screenshot tests with AI these days.

Screenshotbot had an embarrassing UI bug for a while now. There was a ☑️ next to the Reject button instead of a ❎, and it showed up during a customer demo at hashtag#droidcon. 😢

Users don’t always report bugs. Developers don’t always catch their bugs. This bug has been here for almost two years now.

I'm wondering if it is. It's a very flaky issue for me. Some IPs work, some don't (even between same IP addresses in the same DC). For some IP addresses ping doesn't work but SSH works and then also the other way around.
