The Batsquid

Ill have my review of Jedi Star fighter 7143 done by the end of this weekend. Possibly one of my stressful builds because of the brittle-ness of the red bricks. Ill probably post reviews of sets and/or figs I get from work when I can.

Overall I give the 2025 Lego StarWars Arc-170 a 8.5/10. The price point isnt too bad considering that the early interations, with inflation the 2005 ($39.99) would be ~$65.34 and the 2012 ($59.99) would be about ~$83.37. the fig selection is great.

Now for the ship. While smaller than the first two iterations, it is much sturdier. Wing sag doesnt exist like the early versions have as well. The play features that are included are spring loaded missiles on each wing, opening cockpits and the S-foil winglets that lock into position (Vid Below)

First up the figs! Going left to right we have R4-P44, a Clone Pilot, Captain Jag and Odd Ball. The updated prints on the figs are great. Although they couldve done with dual molded legs, but overall really good figs. Lego even made a new print of the newer clone head with that orange visor.

I completely forgot I have Bluesky account. So apologies for that. Ill post my "review" of the 2025 ARC-170 here in the next few days, kinda late I know. But I did start a job roughly 2 months at a Bricks and Minifigs store. Ill post little reviews of sets/fogs I get from there and other places.

Overall not a bad set, while $45 is a bit high, I personally think ~$30-35 dollars would've been ok, it would've been closer to the price point of the 2022 Obi-Wans Starfighter. The set itself is very sturdy and swooshable. The minifigs are great, just wish R7 had back printing.
