The operative word being “cooperate,” which translates to standing down and allowing ICE to intimidate by any and all means at their disposal, or worse, to join ICE in doing so. Neither is acceptable and therefore not cooperating is a must. At some point ICE agents must be arrested and charged.

In a country of 370 million we cannot find roughly five hundred with integrity to staff two houses of congress, a Supreme Court, and an administrative branch to lead it. In metropolitan areas in swing states at election time, ICE will be a menacing presence. Expect activity prior to election days and at polling places on election days in key districts. People will be detained/arrested and warehoused until after the election. We need landslides in rural areas.

Ge’s an east-coaster, but he regularly promotes Michigan/Detroit, and I really appreciate that. He lives about ten miles from me outside Ann Arbor, where his wife grew up. Last night he commented about the head referee being from Detroit and always says positive things about the city. Thanks Mike!

My other thought: think about key voting districts in swing states where it’s a matter of a few thousand votes that determine a winner. They only need to lock out blue voters in these areas to win the general election. It’s not the millions you refer to that they need to silence, just a few thousand

Agreed. But they have and will kill us as Minneapolis proves. They can’t kill us all either but Trump wants people to fear the consequences of voting against him. Killing a few people along the way serves that purpose well, as does arresting some, beating some, etc. The main goal is intimidation.

Yes, the new centers will be filled to capacity with urbanites who typically vote blue. Everything happening in our large cities across the US is designed to suppress voting in these areas. The next two elections will turn on the rural vote more than ever.

I’ve long contended that any sport reliant solely on a judge’s determination on who won isn’t competition, it’s exhibition. Summer and Winter Olympics have many. I’m not saying the participants aren’t great athletes, they are. But their respective sports should be acknowledged for what they are.
