Not to minimize its importance, but this insistence on seeing all the Epstein files in unredacted format is the laser light the βdemo-catsβ keep chasing to the amusement of the MAGAts. As for the entire shit-show that is Trumpism, the democrats have the ball on the one yard line, the defense isβ¦

β¦using to take Trump down. I know nothing about Stoermer, but if this is true it feeds my frustration with the Dems. To paraphrase one of my own recent posts, itβs entirely discouraging that we canβt find a couple hundred people among 370 million with the integrity to act and end this crap.

Youβre spot on. It sure seems like the Dems are assuming victory this fall by default. My disgust for this group grows on a daily basis. Yesterday I read about Tad Stoermer, an historian and constitutional expert, who cited all kinds of power the Dems as the minority party still have, but arenβtβ¦

Sounds like Iβm on the right track. Increase reproduction in the white population, suppress it in the non-white population. But since theyβre wanting to eliminate birth control in general probably they plan on just incarcerating minorities in sufficient numbers to prevent them from reproducing.

Absolutely. As with every aspect of Trumpworld, wholesale exposure and resistance to anything attempting to normalize fascist activity must be the standard.

The operative word being βcooperate,β which translates to standing down and allowing ICE to intimidate by any and all means at their disposal, or worse, to join ICE in doing so. Neither is acceptable and therefore not cooperating is a must. At some point ICE agents must be arrested and charged.

In a country of 370 million we cannot find roughly five hundred with integrity to staff two houses of congress, a Supreme Court, and an administrative branch to lead it. Were the founders just naive to think that was possible, or have the people been naive to think that was the founderβs intention?

I need some education here. Are these efforts by the Heritage Foundation directed only to βwhiteβ girls/women? Is the goal to produce more white children? And if so, what is the Foundation advocating to suppress reproduction among minorities?

In metropolitan areas in swing states at election time, ICE will be a menacing presence. Expect activity prior to election days and at polling places on election days in key districts. People will be detained/arrested and warehoused until after the election. We need landslides in rural areas.

Geβs an east-coaster, but he regularly promotes Michigan/Detroit, and I really appreciate that. He lives about ten miles from me outside Ann Arbor, where his wife grew up. Last night he commented about the head referee being from Detroit and always says positive things about the city. Thanks Mike!

Hereβs an idea - just a regular ten-minute halftime like in the regular season and all the rest of the playoffs. If the type of show we saw yesterday is going to be politicized this much what value is added to the game? BTW, I enjoyed the halftime show.

My other thought: think about key voting districts in swing states where itβs a matter of a few thousand votes that determine a winner. They only need to lock out blue voters in these areas to win the general election. Itβs not the millions you refer to that they need to silence, just a few thousand

Agreed. But they have and will kill us as Minneapolis proves. They canβt kill us all either but Trump wants people to fear the consequences of voting against him. Killing a few people along the way serves that purpose well, as does arresting some, beating some, etc. The main goal is intimidation.

In the early 19th century the US had several parties, mostly differing in their views about slavery, and we still ended up in a civil war. Some would probably say it caused the civil war because Abraham Lincoln won the presidency as a compromise candidate who was hated in the in the southernβ¦

Yes, the new centers will be filled to capacity with urbanites who typically vote blue. Everything happening in our large cities across the US is designed to suppress voting in these areas. The next two elections will turn on the rural vote more than ever.

Are you friggin kidding me? Sure, historians who have written about former presidents have typically been less than objective while extolling the virtues of their subjects, but to even insinuate that this President bears resemblance to any before him is absolute nonsense. Stop normalizing this nut!

Agreed. If republicans in congress now, finally, took action to remove him it could so easily be spun as an act of compassion for a cognitively impaired leader that blowback from the American people who still support Trump would be minimal. WTF IS IT that theyβre afraid of?
